New home warranty
One of the great benefits of a new Mosaic home is the Mosaic New Home Warranty that offers peace of mind and protects against the unexpected. Every Mosaic home is built to the standards set out by the British Columbia Building Code, distinct municipal regulations, the Homeowner Protection Office and our warranty providers’ requirements. Our Mosaic New Home Warranty is backed by an independent warranty provider.
2 years coverage
The first year of your warranty covers all items related to the materials and workmanship of your home, from drywall to appliances. Any defects in the materials and workmanship supplied for distribution systems such as plumbing, electrical wiring, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) are also covered for the first 2 years.
5 years warranty
Your home’s building envelope is covered for defects for up to 5 years. The envelope defects covered include unintended water penetration that could, or does, cause material damage to the home.
10 year warranty
The structural defects warranty covers any defect in materials and labor that results in the failure of a load-bearing part of the home, and any defect that causes structural damage that materially and adversely affects the use of the home for residential occupancy.
