Tricity’s Project Summary
TriCity by Marcon is a landmark moment, an unprecedented catalyst project for Coquitlam’s city centre that will bring vital energy and life into the community.
Marcon Developments and QuadReal Property Group are embarking on an ambitious mixed-use project known as TriCity Central. This venture promises to breathe new life into Coquitlam’s downtown center. The development will consist of six condominium high-rises, two rental apartment towers, a 27-story office building, and a 150-room hotel with a conference center. Spread across 500,000 square feet of commercial space, the site will also feature an array of shops, markets, eateries, cafes, and businesses.
The TriCity Central condominiums will offer a variety of options, ranging from studios to one, two, and three-bedroom units, with sizes spanning from 446 to 1,074 square feet. Notably, the development will provide eight levels of parking, catering to both residential needs (EV-ready) and commercial visitors. Additionally, residents may have access to transit passes and carshare memberships. This strategic location, situated across from Coquitlam Centre, ensures convenient access to various urban amenities.
The towers will offer a host of indoor amenities, including gyms, sauna/steam rooms, a sky lounge with a kitchen, games rooms, a dog wash station, and a kid’s playroom. Outdoors, residents can enjoy a landscaped podium roof, sports courts, playgrounds, games tables, a bocce court, barbecue dining areas, and fire table lounges. Moreover, in addition to exclusive resident amenities, public community spaces will be incorporated into the project. Approximately 20% of the development’s space will be dedicated to public areas, implemented in phases. These public amenities will include a gateway plaza, a central square, a commercial high street, a city park, a playground, gardens, a 220-space daycare facility, and a 9,500-square-foot outdoor play area. To enhance accessibility, a bridge for pedestrians and cyclists will span the Lougheed Highway, providing a direct route to Coquitlam Central Station.
